Everyone on your team works in the same register. Invite colleagues from Settings → Team.

Roles

There are three roles.
  • Owner: the person who created the workspace. Everything an admin can do, plus inviting admins and changing roles.
  • Admin: runs the account: settings, chasing, requirement templates, the team, share links.
  • Member: does the daily work: vendors, certificates, imports, chasing individual vendors, exports.
Everyone manages their own sign-in under Settings → Your sign-in.
Roles are broad. Any member can import, archive and export the whole register. Finer-grained roles are planned.

Invite a colleague

1

Send the invitation

In Settings → Team, enter their email under Invite a colleague, choose a Role (Member, or Admin if you are the owner), and choose Send invitation.
2

They accept

They receive an email with a link, valid for 14 days. They choose their name and a password of at least 10 characters. Accepting the invitation also confirms their email address, so they go straight in.
Pending invitations are listed as “Invited as member, not yet accepted”. An expired one says so; invite the same address again to send a fresh link. To withdraw one, choose Revoke, then Revoke invitation: the link in their email stops working. An address that already belongs to someone else’s WatchMyCover workspace cannot usually be invited. The exception is an untouched trial account (no vendors, projects, documents or other people), which can join your team instead.

Change a role or remove someone

The owner can switch anyone between Admin and Member with the role menu beside their name. Nobody can change their own role. Owners and admins can Remove members; only the owner can remove an admin. They lose access straight away. Their history on the account is kept. Nobody can remove themselves. There is no way to change the owner in the app. If the owner needs to change, write to info@watchmycover.com.

Seats

Starter includes 2 users, Core 5, and Pro is unlimited. Pending invitations count toward the total. The Team card shows how many seats are used.
